Award winning actor, Deyemi Okalawon has elicited a myriad of reactions after he shared a video of himself kissing different Nigerian celebrities.
An excited Deyemi who is married with two kids wrote: “When I say my name is “OKAN-lawon” 😎😁… meanwhile can we all just take a moment to appreciate all these brilliant, bold and beautiful Nigerian women… and my young alma mata, ISL fans! Make sure you tag all your favs! “
Reacting to the video, Bimbo Ademoye wrote:” Kink gbogbo palapala yi”.
Veteran actor, Jide Kosoko added:” Haaaaaa…huumnnmmm DEYEMI”.
Another actor, Adeniyi Johnson said:” Haaaaaa…huumnnmmm DEYEMI”.
Revered actor, Ibrahim Chatta said: “Deyemi kilode gan”.
Kemi Filani News recalls that Deyemi had said he once had to eat raw pepper in order to fit into a character.
“So far, there have been three roles I have found almost equally taxing, albeit for different reasons. The first is acting as ‘Femi Stone’ in Funke Akindele and JJC’s movie, Omo Ghetto: The Saga. Not only because of the sheer scale of the production and the calibre of actors I was working with but it was the first time I was cast to play such a role and I thank the Scene One production team for providing all the support I needed.
The second is the character, ‘Fogo Bombastic’ in Niyi Akinmolayan’s movie, The Prophetess, where I had to speak Yoruba. I had never done that before and I also had to eat raw pepper throughout the production. The third was acting as ‘Bayo Olaoluwa’ in Yewande Zacheus’ movie, The Wait, which was extremely emotional for me because my wife and I had faced the same issues in real life”.
