It is the 44th birthday of Nollywood actress, Shola Kosoko, and her father, Jide Kosoko has penned a sweet tribute to her.
Taking to his Instagram page to share photos of the celebrant, he described her as his mother as he noted how she is his birth mate and twin.
Raining powerful prayers on her, he wrote,
“Congratulations, my January birthday mate @officialsholakosoko Ayinke aya Abina. Success is yours in good health . Happy birthday to my mummy.. omo rere a toju iwo na Amin”.
The celebrant on her part, while sharing stunning photos of her dressed in traditional attire, expressed gratitude to her creator for her new age.
She stated that her God hasn’t only given her life but has given her more abundantly. She added that if the hair on her head were to be numbered, they wouldn’t be enough to thank God for all He has done and most importantly for the special gift of life.

Last year, while celebrating her 42nd birthday, Sola Kosoko announced that she had welcomed a bouncing baby boy.
She shared beautiful birthday portraits while expressing gratitude to God for adding another tiny foot to her family.
The daughter of Jide Kosoko later threw a star-studded ceremony at her home which was attended by some of her colleagues. Yinka Quadri, Toyin Tomato, Jide Kosoko, Bidemi Kosoko, and more were spotted at the ceremony.
In other news, Sola Kosoko has given fans a glimpse into her married life.
The movie star, in an interview with colleague, Biola Bayo revealed how she met her husband and how religion almost became a hindrance in their marriage.
She went on to share her two cents on her stance about divorce, as she advocated for it, especially when it affects one’s life. She noted how when a woman is in a critical situation, she gets advice from different angles, but it is left for her to pick one.
Shola Kosoko, the daughter of Jide Kosoko, has been married for over 10 years to Abiodun Abinna and has three children – two girls and a boy.
