Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko has opened up on his wish for the new year especially as the general elections in the county approaches.
In an interview with Punch Newspaper, the actor hopes for peace in the nation and bigger success in his career.
Kosoko said, “I pray for peace to reign in our dear country this year, our leaders should respect one another and stop unnecessary blackmail; they are only doing things that are not African. I pray for peace during the general elections; there will not be war in Nigeria by the grace of God.
“I thank God for everything; the Bible says we should give thanks in every situation we find ourselves. So many things happened in my life in 2018, which is why I’ll continue to praise His name. I will work towards the success of some of my movie productions this New Year; I would ensure they come out successful,” he added.
