Movie producer and former singer, Abdulrasheed Bello better known as JJC Skillz is marking the first anniversary of converting to Islam.
In a lengthy post via Instagram, JJC Skillz recounted how he reverted to Islam with the help and guidance of his beloved big brother.
He stated that he is indebted to the Muslim community, who have welcomed him with open arms and embraced me as one of their own. JJC Skillz stated that their unwavering support, friendship, and camaraderie have instilled within him a profound sense of belonging and unity.
“Today marks the anniversary of a significant turning point in my life. Guided by the support of my beloved big brother. On the 10th of July 2022, I embraced Islam and embarked on a path that has brought me immense growth, understanding, and spiritual fulfillment.
Reverting to Islam has allowed me to forge a deeper connection with my Creator, finding solace and peace in the knowledge that I am part of a greater plan and it has granted me a sense of purpose.

Recall that early this year, JJC Skillz had announced his return to Islam, his father’s religion.
The ex-husband of actress, Funke Akindele, made this known on his Instagram page.
JJC Skillz revealed that he was lost but now had been found while pleading got a pardon. He prayed for his creator to veil his weaknesses and set at ease his dismay.
“I was lost but now I’m found. O Allah, I ask you for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs and my family and my wealth. O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay and preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above. And I take refuge with You lest I be swallowed up by the earth”.
JJC Skillz further confirmed his return to his father’s religion in an interview with an Islamic online platform, Muslims News.
JJC Skills said he was originally born into an Islamic family but he never practiced it as he chose to follow the faith of his mother.
