The family of late actor, Junior Pope has addresses the public about a viral burial poster of the actor making rounds online.
Kemi Filani reported a day back that the family of the late actor had released his funeral arrangements. The late actor will be laid to rest on May 17th, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu state.
Many eagle-eyed fans noticed that on the obituary poster, ‘husband’, was noticeably absent which left tongues wagging as before his demise, Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele and they have 3 sons.
Now speaking out, his family made it known that the burial poster making rounds online wasn’t authorized by the family. According to them, the poster needs some corrections and the family has requested the public’ assistance in bringing it down.
“Dear Junior Pope Fans, I wanted to bring to your attention that the current poster of our late brother Junior Pope displayed needs some corrections.The family has requested your assistance in bringing it down.They mentioned that the revised version will be released soon.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation”.
Recall that movie producer, Stanley Nwoko had responded to those querying him over why ‘Husband’ wasn’t included in Junior Pope’s obituary, urging them to ask the late actor’s brother .
He noted how he wanted to speak up but Nigerians shut him up, as he stated that he had a lot of information but he wouldn’t say anything because nobody believed him when he wanted to speak out.
Before then, actor, Dave Ogbeni had first given a hint that all wasn’t well in the actor’s marriage before his demise, as he shared his last encounter with JP. He alleged that the actor had cried out to him that he was dying slowly and wanted to share his story with bloggers, but he convinced him not to.
Concurring with him, a Twitter user, identified as Papi Jnr had made a strong allegation against Junior Pope’s wife, Jennifer Awele, accusing her of sleeping with rich men and frustrating the actor’s life.
It is no longer news that the actor died two weeks back after drowning at Anam River while returning from a movie shoot. The beloved actor alongside 5 others, died from the boat mishap.
