Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Ka3na Jones, has cried out about being a single mother.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Ka3na reflected on her journey as a young widow and mother of one. She said she can never get used to being a single parent, as it is hard.
She noted how people say it gets easier with time, but they are wrong, as it only grows. Ka3na lamented over the anxiety, grief, responsibility and sacrifices.
The reality star said she would have honestly not done anything different if she had known her husband would die so soon. She said she misses her late husband and admitted getting angry, tired and worn out.

Nobody ever tells you, “Hey Katie, this amazing man you’re about to marry only has five more years to live, make every second count.” Or, “Don’t rush into having kids… he’s going to die and leave you a widow and a single mother in your prime”.

Last year, Ka3na shared some life lessons that bordered on adulthood. She said she has realised that no one truly has life figured out, and added that adults simply do their best and hope for the best results most of the time.
Recall that in May 2023, Ka3na lost her white husband, Mr Jones. The reality star and entrepreneur released an official statement, where she stated that his death had left her daughter fatherless and her a widow.
In October of 2023, she took a trip to Italy where she bid him farewell by releasing his ashes in water. She explained that she set his spirit free to soar among the heavens. She promised him that his legacy would live on eternally in their hearts.
In a public service announcement, Ka3na made it known that she was legally and traditionally married to him, and now she is his widow. She stated that she had no intention of remarriage or changing her marital status by dropping her husband’s name, and requested that everyone respect her statement.
Following the death of her white husband, the reality star became the ‘richest widow’ in the world when she acquired billions of naira by allegedly selling some of her late husband’s properties. She shared the news of her achievement on her Instagram page, where she disclosed that she had woken up to be credited with nine hundred million dollars ($900,000,000).
