Nollywood actor Kamo State has penned a heartfelt note to his senior colleague, Funke Akindele following the birth of his first child.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that Kamo and his wife had welcomed their first child. The actor made the news known on his Instagram page, expressing gratitude to his wife and noting how she did the hardest job.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, Kamo praised Funke Akindele and recalled how she stood by them during his wife’s pregnancy and childbirth.
According to him, Funke had offered to fly his wife to the US for their baby’s birth, but they declined. He said she hid one of the best doctors in Lagos for his wife, paid all their bills, and is still sponsoring their child’s naming ceremony.
Kamo stated that Funke’s generosity knows no bounds and her love is a gift that he cherishes every single day. Raining prayers on her, he appreciated her for being the amazing woman she is and for showing him the true meaning of family.
