Nollywood actor, Kanayo Kanayo has joined the thousands of people celebrating veteran, Pete Edochie’s birthday today.
Kanayo noted how he and Pete share the same birthday month, and despite being older than him, Pete Edochie always makes it a yearly duty to call him on the 1st of March.
Eulogizing him, he expressed how honored it is to celebrate the legendary actor while he is still alive and kicking well.

Hours ago, his son, Yul Edochie had poured encomium on the actor, describing him as the Lion of Africa, and the most handsome 77 years he knows.
Calling him the greatest, he revealed his wishes for him and prayed for God to lead him always.
Last year, Kanayo paid respect to Pete Edochie as they linked up at the 40th birthday dinner of Elizabeth Jack Rich.
In a video posted on Kanayo Kanayo’s Instagram page, the actors were seen exchanging pleasantries in Pete Edochie’s hotel room. The veteran actor, Pete Edochie, could be seen sitting as Kanayo Kanayo and others paid respect to him. The two shook hands and conversed.
Taking to her comment section, the likes of Ufuoma McDermott, Sarah Martins, Victoria Inyama, Uche Nnanna, Monalisa Chinda, and Lylaws gushed over it.
Recall that in 2022, Kanayo Kanayo joined Pete Edochie for his 75th birthday Thanksgiving service.
Edochie shared pictures of the Thanksgiving service on his verified Instagram page and in his caption, the veteran appreciated his fellow Nollywood star, Kanayo O Kanayo for attending the event.
