Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi and her best friend Laide Bakare have finally settled their differences days after fighting over their colleague, Gida, who was alleged to be their sugar boy.
Kemi Filani recalls that on Friday, August 27, Kemi Afolabi ranted on Instagram about her Laide Bakare, describing her as delusional, crazy and an attention seeker.
Kemi Afolabi wrote: “Fine girl kemo, delusional low self esteem attention seeker say na she give me stardom werey Alaso….Ta lo ni Twinnie isonu! Yinmu Se Kemi ALAGBARA wa kere ni? TGIF..wey dem? Dem no reach”
And in response, Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare wrote “No matter what hatters say or do. Can never ever reach ME, Abi eleyi Fe Te ni ? Who you be? #laidebakare is your forefather MOTHER, I’m too Big for some kin nonsense, miss wereyy. Who be your Twinee?? Alaye baje … You wey be like Man!!!!”
Debunking the rumours that she is fighting with Kemi Afolabi, Laide Bakare, in a statement released on her Instagram page, said she would never stoop low to the level of fighting over a man in the Nollywood industry.
According to Laide, she and Gida only met a few times during work at movie locations. She added that the stories on fighting over a man are ridiculous.
Well, the two Nollywood stars finally made peace as Kemi Afolabi took to her Instagram page to wish Laide Bakare a happy new month and reiterates she is her best friend.
She wrote: Happy new month my beautiful #twinnie @laidebakare and #KemiAfolabi lovers worldwide.
Responding to the post, Laide Bakare expressed love for Kemi Afolabi, stating she would never say anything wrong about her.
She also urged their fans never to believe hear-say unless it’s from the horse’s mouth, adding that people are wicked.
She wrote: Oremi Twinee mi I love and you know it. Guys learn a lesson from this. People are wicked, never listen to ORO EYIN. unless it’s from horses Mouth. I can say bad things About Anota Oluwakemi. #peacetotheworld
