Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi Adesipe has made a new promise to her daughter as she battles a terminal illness.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a video of her on Facetime with her mini-me, she revealed that her daughter occasionally calls her anytime she leaves the home. Telling her to calm down, she told her she would see her in a bit.
The movie star, further noted how she can’t be with her daughter for the rest of her life, however, she would love her for the rest of her life.
“Now now that I just left the house for the gym o, this girl will be calling somebody every minute, calm down my madam! See u in a bit.
Oluwadarasimi Okomi I can’t promise to be here for the rest of your life, but I promise to LOVE you for the rest of mine”.
Taking to her comment section, her fans and followers showered prayers on her.

While counting down to her daughter’s birthday, months back, Kemi Afolabi had reflected on her daughter’s birth.
She narrated how she had her daughter at the age of thirty, despite her doubts about having a baby, and revealed that her daughter is the one thing she got right and she is a dream come true for her.
In her birthday post, Kemi described her only child as a special child because God allowed her mother to still be with her.
She credited her daughter for being her source of strength, noting that she would have given up on life if not for her daughter.
Watching her daughter grow from a toddler to an incredible, amazing, beautiful teenager has been the greatest privilege of her life.
Recall that a year ago, Kemi Afolabi disclosed in an interview that she had been diagnosed with lupus and had just five more years to live.
Following her bombshell revelation, many of her colleagues solicited help for her to receive the best medical care abroad.
Giving fans an update on her health status, she shared a video of her giving fans a glimpse of her medical check-up.
While speaking with the doctor, she lamented over her swollen feet and hands as she revealed her desire to get back in shape.
Luckily for her, she is in the remission period and doesn’t feel as much pain as she did in the beginning.
