It is a joyous time for Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi who was in tears days back, over her huge financial loss.
The movie star had lost over N500,000 while trying to make transactions from her bank.
Luckily for her, her outcry on social media worked magic as the movie star recovered her money.
Taking to Instagram to give an update, Kemi expressed gratitude to her fans and netizens for supporting her.
She stated that the power of social shouldn’t be underestimated as her fans’ support for her has yielded positive results.
Expressing her love for them, she wrote,
“GTB Fraud Unit made sure the money I erroneously transferred to their customer is returned to my acct. Thank you all for helping me tag GTB.
My dear! Never you underestimate the power of social media.

On Monday, Kemi Afolabi had cried out for help to Nigerians as he battled things out with her bank.
The movie star, who recently returned from Mecca, revealed that she mistakenly transferred the sum of N510,000 in April, to a customer’s account and they both use the same bank.
It’s been back and forth with her bank for the past three months, which had left her drained.
Asking for help, she begged her fans to come to her rescue as she is tired and exhausted.
“I mistakenly transferred the sum of five hundred and ten thousand naira to a customer’s account! We both use same bank. Since April 1st, 2023.
Eyin fans mi e ma gba mi Keh.
My tired is exhausted honestly!”.
In another post, Kemi Afolabi who has been left impatient and exhausted, called on her bank to do the needful.

They held on to my five hundred and ten thousand nairas.
I have been patient, I am exhausted.
