A few weeks ago, Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo shared a photo with her man Bobby, her colleague Rosy Meurer and her husband Churchill Olakunle who happens to be Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband on her page.
The photo showed Uche and her man rocking matching outfits while Rosy and Churchill went for something different.
“The Other Day With the Churchills , I have never had a friend that Cracks me Up so Much like this Trouble girl @official_rosymeurer She is always Saying Funny Stuff , and trust me cos me I like Laughing my heart out! , Swipe to see me laughing like an over fed cow. LOVE IS IN THE AIR.” She captioned the photos.
These photos generated reactions indicating that Tonto Dikeh and Uche Ogbodo are at logger heads and that’s the reason she is in good terms with Rosy and Churchill.
Well, Kemi Filani News reached out to Uche Ogbodo and she cleared up on the supposed enmity between herself and Tonto Dikeh.
She said, “People are criticizing me for hanging out with Churchill, why would they criticize me for hanging out with a great man like Churchill and Rosy, an amazing friend of mine. Rosy and Churchill are beautiful souls.
Why will people on earth criticize me for hanging out with them?
I love them, they are my friends and that’s all that matters. They equally love me. Because of that, people call me Tonto Dikeh’s enemy? Oh, really… I didn’t know. Really? They do call me that?
We are not enemies but we are not friends. We’ve never been friends. We have never had any friendship connection in the past. Ever since I got into Nollywood, we’ve never been friends. We are just colleagues and to call me her enemy, I don’t think I’m her enemy and I’m sure she doesn’t think I’m her enemy. So, we are good.”
However, for Uche Ogbodo there are certain circumstances that would make her get romantically involved with an ex-lover of her friend.
The single mum of two who is currently dating a much younger lover, Bobby Maris revealed her stand on inheriting a friend’s ex-lover or husband.
“This question is actually very deep, you know. But I don’t think I can do that. It’s not in my person to marry my friend’s ex-lover or hubby. But then again, it all depends. Life comes in different ways. It depends on what the circumstance of the story is. Let me not say never because nobody knows tomorrow. If they ended up on a good path. ‘No be you dey in between’, you did not cause the trouble.
Well, if you guys get to eventually fall in love, maybe that’s a plan from the onset. Nature took its course,” she said.
When asked how she feels about dating a younger lover, Uche Ogbodo says she sees her man as Mr. Perfect and nothing wrong with their relationship.
Hear her: “It doesn’t make me feel anyhow that people call him my younger lover. I’m obviously older than my man. A couple of years but I don’t see him as my younger lover. I see him as my partner, my man, the love of my life. I see him as a man who loves me and cares for me. I see him as my mini God. Do I wish he is older, no, never. I love him the way he is. He is cute, very good-looking, very young, very energetic. He’s perfect just the way he is, please
