Big Brother Naija Lockdown ex housemate, Kiddwaya has given his two cents as to why celebrities shunned Davido following his FIFA achievement.
Kiddwaya opined that many aren’t celebrating the singer because he is from a rich home.
In a since deleted tweet, Kiddwaya stated that those who hate Davido are the ones with problems.
According to him, the hatred for celebrities who were born into rich homes is on a high side.
Kiddwaya noted how not only Davido but himself and Cuppy are hated in the industry because of their privileged background.
In another post on his story, Kiddwaya took swipe at celebrities who shunned the singer.
He questioned why they would hate their colleague who made history and made Nigerians and Africans proud.
He pointed out how Davido is the first Nigerian artist to be on the FIFA soundtrack.
Kiddwaya added that the validation from them is no longer needed.
“You hate us because we born rich. Sounds like a mother fucking YOU problem”.
“First Nigerian Artist to be on the FIFA soundtrack and my people hate? The validation is not needed no more. That’s the beauty of being global”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Davido cried out over the hatred against him in the music industry.
The singer pointed out how no artiste celebrated his newest achievement or posted the news on their Instagram pages.
On Friday, April 1st, Davido made history as the first African to feature in FIFA official soundtrack for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Davido corroborate with a Twitter user who also made the same observation.
The Twitter user with the handle, Sonjoe Kutuh noted how no Nigerian artiste posted about Davido’s FIFA song.
He complained that if it was Wizkid, everyone would be bowing for me.
He tweeted, “The Nigerian music industry is against Davido, no artist posted about Davido’s FIFA song, but if it was the other guy, everyone’s account will be twerking for him. Not his fault he was born rich”.
Davido replied him, “ME vs THE INDUSTRY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!”.
This isn’t the first time the singer is crying out over this.
