The top 8 contestants of the ongoing Nigerian Idol competition have emerged, and sadly, Clinton was kicked off the show.
This comes after Faith Mac and Dotun were evicted last week. Clinton came short in number of votes last night and he was sent home.
The top 8 contestants who are now up for possible eviction next Sunday are – Kingdom, Beyonce, Akunna, Faith Jason, Comfort, Francis, Emmanuel, and Daniel.
For the live performances last night. Daniel performed Brymo’s “Good morning” and the judges loved his rendition of the song.
Comfort sang Simi’s “Duduke” and the judges fell in love with her outfit and performance.
Faith Jason gave a thrilling performance of Flavour’s “Awele”.
Emmanuel’s rendition of Teni and Davido’s “For you” will make you want to hit ‘rewind’.
Akunna’s energetic performance of Seyi Shay’s “Loving your way” was everything! Even the viewers at home could not get enough of it.
Francis sang ‘Ada Ada” by Flavour, and Kingdom performed Davido’s “Aye”.
Beyonce ended the night’s performance with an amazing rendition of Seyi Shay’s “Right Now“.
