Game of thrones star, Kit Harrington has stated that the final season of the HBO series will break boundaries.
Appearing on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 on Tuesday, Kit Harrington spoke about what people should expect in the highly-anticipated conclusion.
“I’m so excited for people to see it,” Harington said. “I think it’s going to be extraordinary. Hopefully it will change TV again like it did originally and break boundaries. I think it might.”
When asked if he’s “happy” about how the series ends, Harington seems to have mixed feelings.
“It’s like when you finish a book — you’re not happy it’s over, are you?” he said.
“You don’t finish a good book and go, ‘I’m happy I finished that.'”
“You have this grief that it’s over, and that’s exactly the same with this nine years of doing this show,” he continued.
“No matter how it ended or how it does end, there’s always going to be a bit of you that [feels] loss around it.”
He concluded, “Maybe not happy, but very satisfied.”
Kit Harrington who stars as Jon Snow spoke of how demanding the show has been.
“Everyone was broken at the end,” he told GQ Australia.
“I don’t know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so f–king tiring. We were sleep deprived. It was like it was designed to make you think, ‘Right, I’m f–king sick of this.'”
He continued, “I remember everyone walking around towards the end going, ‘I’ve had enough now. I love this, it’s been the best thing in my life, I’ll miss it one day — but I’m done.’
