Fans of Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham and her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi have prayed for their union amid actress’ backlash from Nigerians.
Refreshing your memory, Toyin was under heat for arresting one of her trolls and leaving him in police custody for some time. One of the trolls had accused the actress of detaining his mother, a claim the actress denied by stating that the said mother refused to leave the police station due to her son’s arrest.
Following this, Nigerians massively reported her to the streaming platform Netflix for her movies to be taken down. Netizens urged the streaming platform to boycott her movies and take a firm stance against her behaviour.
While her colleagues in the industry stood up for her, her husband, Kolawole, stayed quiet, which left many tongues wagging.
Proving that all is well between him and his wife, Kolawole took to his Instagram page to share a throwback loved-up photo of him and Toyin as he wished his fans a Happy Sunday.
Taking to his comment section, many showered the couple with prayers.

Recall that during the general election, Kolawole Ajeyemi had publicly distanced himself from supporting her preferred presidential candidate. He aired his views about his wife’s preferred candidate, stating he was not a party to her choice.
In 2022, it was speculated that they were having an in-house crisis arising from Toyin’s attitude towards certain issues that revolve around their family. Toyin’s husband had been complaining about her attitude, her refusal to follow him to church, and her skipping to sleep at home for a couple of days. The couple, however, debunked the reports and proved that their union is still waxing stronger
