Tiwi, the wife of Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi has broken down in tears at her traditional wedding.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the couple are holding the first leg of their wedding with a traditional wedding which is currently holding place at an undisclosed location in Lagos.
Kemi Filani shared first photos and videos from their traditional wedding. In one of the videos, the groom and his groomsmen could be seen looking all dapper with Kunle wearing a brown like Agbada, while his groomsmen wore white. His wife, Tiwi wore an orange traditional bridal attire as beads adorned her neck. The couple no doubt looked breathtaking and we can’t wait to see more.
In a video making rounds online, the bride could be seen shedding hot tears as she held on to her parents. Mrs Rema was seen in one clip sitting in between her parents as she broke down in tears. Her father could be seen in another clip comforting his daughter as she takes the first step to being Mrs Remi.
Despite today being his wedding, the groom had taken time out to send a message to his wife. Sharing a photo of him holding a goat with his wife kneeling in front of his wife, he stated that he humbly comes to her as a G.O.A.T (which means Greatest Of All Time), with a goat. He questioned if his wife was ready to dance.
A day back, the couple had peppered netizens with their loved-up video as they held a pre-wedding-like party for their inner circles. In videos posted online by Bella Naija, Kunle and his wife treated their family, friends, and loved ones to some Cocktail Things. The likes of Etim Effiong, Efe Iwara, and Mofe Duncan were among the few celebrities spotted at the event.
On New Year’s Day, the light-skinned actor broke the internet when he revealed to the world that he had officially tied the knot with his heartthrob, and shared photos of himself and his wife whom he engaged and married in 2023, accompanied by a message to his fans.
The actor further revealed that there was no proposal video while replying to a Twitter user. He stated that though he went down on his knee, which was for the culture, there was no one to record the sweet moment as it was spontaneity, and even his wife, didn’t believe him.
His wife, Tiwi had issued a warning to Nigerian ladies who are still crushing on her husband to stay away from him.
During a banter between the black beauty and Kunle Remi’s friend, Tiwi said her husband is off the market because he’s all hers.
Tiwi prayed that God would send lovely partners for those crushing on her husband because Kunle Remi is now gone and he is officially hers.
When the news of his marriage made rounds, his bffs, Deyemi Okanlawon and Bimbo Ademoye reacted to it. Deyemi ushered Kunle into the club of married men as he expressed how excited he was that his marriage was no longer a secret.
Bimbo, on her part, had expressed how excited she was that somebody had finally helped her manage the actor, who she described as a monkey.
In a note to his wife, she appreciated her for who she was and for being one of the sweetest humans she knew. She also sent a message to Kunle, whom she described as a good man, warning him to avoid annoying her, as she promised to snatch his wife from him.
