Kunle Ayanlowo, one of the drummers of Fuji singer, King Wasiu Ayinde better known as Kwam1 or K1 has opened up on his time working with him.
In an interview, he revealed how K1, treated him and others as a slave. He claimed that the Fuji singer always seized their passports anytime they traveled and returned to Nigeria.
He disclosed how Kwam1 ordered him to return home when he ran into him on the road while he was on the way to the hospital for treatment. To date, he claimed that he is still nursing the ulcer and told Nigerians to hold Kwam1 accountable should anything happen to him.
Kunle added that he worked with K1 for 32 years and achieved nothing as he loved in fear throughout his time with him. He noted how people only see his good side, but don’t know who he really is behind the scenes.
“Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde used to seize and hold on to our passports whenever we traveled and returned to Nigeria. It is my right as a Nigerian to have my passport with me. My passports with him are over 3. One day someone was taking me to the hospital for treatment, Alhaji met us on the road, he ordered me to get down from the car and go back home and I was having intense stomach pain. Till today, I am still nursing the ulcer. If any bad thing should happen to me, I will hold him accountable. I was with him for 32 years and I achieved nothing. I lived in fear throughout my time with him. People only see him as a good person outside, you don’t know who he really is”.
Reacting to it, many noted how this is one of the reasons why no one came to Mohbad’s aid when he cried out for help over his ordeal with Naira Marley.

Early this year, Kwam1, and his beautiful wife, Emmanuella Rope had reacted to rumors of a marital crisis, which stemmed after he failed to celebrate his wife publicly on her birthday.
Goldmyne TV, speaking on behalf of the couple, debunked the rumors as sources close to the couple stated that there was no trouble in paradise for them. The statement claimed that it was a deliberate decision by the lovebirds to avoid celebrating his wife in public as they were strategically maintaining a low profile.
Kwam1 also took to his Instagram page to shut down the report, noting how some ‘lazy-minded’ people were gathering unfounded stories just to trend using his name.
