In recent development, the lady identified as Jess who trended for rocking singer Omah Lay while leaving her boyfriend behind in the crowd has continued to spill more details.
In a recent interview with OFF THE RECORD, she recounted how traumatic the entire experience has been since the event ended till present. She disclosed how she has been getting a lot of hateful comments from people.
While sharing her experiences, she broke down into tears. She revealed that if she had known that things would get to the point that they had gotten to, she would not have gone for the event at all. She also expressed how it was difficult for her to stay off the internet and she found herself addicted to reading the hateful comments.
She revealed that maybe if she had been in the limelight prior to the event happening, she would have learned how to handle reading the hateful comments better but unfortunately it was all new to her.
Now recall that some days back, she had come on social media to tell her own side of the story. She had revealed that, contrary to people saying that her boyfriend had been the one to buy the tickets for her, she had been the one to buy the tickets for the both of them.
She had also expressed that her boyfriend had been going through a difficult time and she had been trying to lighten his mood by bringing him for the concert. She further stated how the entire situation had been overblown, while revealing that she had always been a core fan of Omah Lay.
Now recall that back in February, Kemi Filani had reported that the Nigerian internet had almost broken after a video had emerged of a girl seductively rocking Afrobeat singer Omah Lay on stage.
The video also pans off to show her boyfriend looking sad and dejected as he watches his girlfriend being rocked on the stage. The boyfriend has since broken silence as he revealed that he was in fact her boyfriend and they were in fact in a real relationship.
