Laila Charani the 5th wife of Nigerian senator and politician, Ned Nwoko has raised eyebrows over her message to him and his last wife, Regina Daniels.
On Tuesday, the couple had celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Regina had described the past 5 years as remarkable as she stated that they have so much love to show for it. She expressed gratitude to God and prayed for many more years to celebrate the love with him.
Taking to his own Instagram page, Ned cheered on to many more years with Regina. He described the past 5 years with her as good and eventful as he stated that they are just starting.
Taking to his comment section, Laila Charani wished the couple a happy anniversary. She wrote, “Happy anniversary to you”.
Her message stirred mix reactions as one Ugamy questioned if polygamy was sweet. She wrote, “Na so polygamy dey sweet?”

Days back, Laila had stirred reactions as she finally accepted that Ned isn’t hers alone. Sharing a loved-up photos of her and him at an event, she declared him ‘our’ husband, meaning she isn’t the only one who has him.
Their marriage, has however, not be smooth sailing as in 2021, the Moroccan model called things quits with Ned. Speaking on her divorce, she revealed some of her challenges and some issues that went down in their marriage, which she blamed on Regina Daniels.
In a surprising twist, in September 2022, Laila apologised to the Nwoko family, blaming her actions on outsiders whom she allowed to influence her. Her apology was accepted by Ned Nwoko, and in January, he penned a beautiful note to her, affirming his love for her.
Early this year, she and Regina Daniels settled their differences as Regina joined Ned in celebrating Laila’s birthday.
