Late Obama’s son, Abdulmalik Uthman has penned a touching note to his father’s boss, Davido as he turns 31 today.
In an emotional post on his Instagram page, Malik appreciated Davido for keeping his promise to help him after the death of his father and never rejecting him. He noted how keeping a promise is one of the hardest things in life, yet the singer didn’t relent.
He recounted how Davido consoled him during one of his heartbroken days and spoke to him as a son. Singing his praise, he poured encomium on him for being a humble, gifted, and talented man.
“Dad, I am writing this from the bottom of my heart, keeping a promise is one of the hardest things in life. You promised to help me since I lost my father. You never rejected me, you loved me just the way a father should love his child.
Every video of us you always “My son”. Dad, my father would be very grateful for all you do for me.
I love you so much. There was a day I was so broken, but when we spoke he didn’t just solve my issue, he spoke to me “My son hope you really good”.
These words are so genuine and lovely.
Happy birthday to my father’s friends, someone to cry to, someone who cares, someone who loves me. To a father, to a legend, to a humble-hearted man, to a gifted man, to a talented man, to someone whose smile can save a soul.

In his comment section, he broke down in tears as he stated that the public could never understand what Davido had done for him.

Recall that Obama DMW died on the 29th of June, 2021.
According to reports from close friends, Obama drove himself to the hospital to run a test and checkup over difficulties in breathing. The artist manager was said to have reportedly died in the hospital.
Following the death of Obama, Davido has fully taken the responsibilities of his son and has secured a job for him.
Davido being a shareholder in his father’s company secured immediate employment for the young man as soon as he finished school.
The Grammy nominee had also enrolled Malik at Adeleke University after seeing him through secondary school.
Last month, Malik made his father proud as he graduated from the University with a BSc in Engineering.
Sharing photos from his graduation ceremony, Abdulmalik stated that though the journey was difficult, he finally made it.
