Nollywood actor and movie producer Lateef Adedimeji is reflecting on the past as he celebrates his growth.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a throwback photo of himself, he stated that his journey over the years is the spirit of not giving up. Expressing gratitude to his Maker, he noted how his life is evidence of growth.
Lateef stated that if anyone had told him then that he would be what he is today, he would likely throw stones at them. He told his millions of fans that it is left to them to make sure their background doesn’t define their future, as they can’t afford to give up.

Lateef has been doing a lot of self-reflection lately. In September, he shared his movie trailer as he reflected on how he went from being the boy backstage to leading a galaxy of stars in bringing them this masterpiece.
In May of this year, Lateef Adedimeji, in an interview, reflected on his early career days when he was collecting N4,000 for a lead role and shared the important advice his father gave him.
That wasn’t the first time Lateef opened up on his poor pay during his early days. While counting down to his birthday last year, Adedimeji revealed that he was once paid N5000 for a lead role. He stated that he was just a helpless young boy who did his things and made people laugh unintentionally, which led to open doors for him.
