Nollywood actor and first-time producer Lateef Adedimeji is quite elated as his movie, Lisabi, has returned to its top spot on the streaming platform Netflix.
Kemi Filani reported in September that the actor had delved into filmmaking with the release of his movie, Lisabi, which celebrates the legacy of Lisabi, a legendary Egbaland warrior.
The Historic movie has returned to the top 10 movies spot on Netflix and an overjoyed Lateef, who couldn’t keep calm, expressed how happy he was with the news. He appreciated his wife, Mo Bimpe for the support as well as his production company.
Lateef went on to tease the sequel of Lisabi, which he promised wouldn’t disappoint the public.

A day back, Mo Bimpe had expressed excitement as Lisabi ranked top ten most searched movies in 2024. Bimpe noted how data don’t lie and expressed how glad she was that when people talk about filmmaking in 2024, they are among them.
When Lateef premiered Lisabi 1, he and Bimpe, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun. Praising the Governor for recognizing exceptional talents in the State, Lateef expressed how humbled he was, as he stated that it felt great to be home and expressed how thrilled he was to see his movie receiving such strong acceptance and support from the State Government.
Recall that Lateef and Mo Bimpe first teased their movie project last year when they announced that they were set to make a huge statement in Nollywood. The couple announced the next phase of their business, Al Notions Studios as Lateef expressed how anxious he was to share the amazing stories they were working on with the world.
