Laura Ikeji’s husband, Ogbonna Kanu, has been publicly called out for sending his wife some toys meant for indigent children.
This comes amid the social media brouhaha that followed the twenty million Naira gift he gave his wife on her birthday.
An Instagram user identified as Joyceigba had alleged that the Nigerian former professional football defender usually sends his wife Laura Ikeji toys meant for tips at his workplace.
She wrote: joyceigba @quincehair na so he carry all the toys for tips give her for Nigeria, she begin shout say new toys from hubby to kids. Toys wey he gather for dump. Abeg leave me o
An Instagram blogger Cutie_Jullus who shared the post, alleged Ogbonna had collected those toys from his workplace with an excuse of giving them to less privileged children in Nigeria but ended up giving them to his wife, Laura.
According to the blogger, Laura Ikeji shared the toys between her kids and sister’s children.
The blogger wrote:
Ogbonna collected those toys with the excuse of giving them to the less privileged kids in Nigeria. Laura ended up giving it to her kids and her sister’s kid. Can you honestly say the kids in the Ikeji family are from poor homes? Laura and government, who is more corrupt?
Laura and her sisters could afford those toys but rememebrr there are kids out there whose parents cannot afford it. And Laura as an A-List celeb knows better than that.. When I commented on Sandra’s page thay day and Linda’s blog about this issue, they blocked mw. Why?
