He took to Instagram to celebrate with a few photos, and a brief appreciation post for his fans and his team.
In his caption, he wrote;

Layi Wasabi’s win at the AMVCA awards reached the ears of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who celebrated him on social media. The office of the Governor was indeed proud of Layi Wasabi, calling him a son of the soil.
The AMVCA paved way for a lot of young people to win this year, with young acts like Genovevah Umeh winning Best Supportive Actress.
Skit maker Nasboi didn’t take home any win, but that didn’t stop him from creating an award category for himself, and declaring himself as the winner.
While it wasn’t everyone that went home with an award, the AMVCA remains one of the most glamorous events in recent times.
