Upcoming Nigerian singer and former artiste of Davido’s record label, Wasiu Goriola better known as Lil Frosh and his ex girlfriend, Okeoghene Gift Camille have decided to settle their issues out of the court.
Recall that in 2020, Gift Camille opened up on how she was beaten to pulp by the singer.
The singer was called out by the Gift Camille’s brother cum manager on Monday, October 5, 2020.
According to the victim’s brother, Michael, Lil Frosh has been striking his sister for a while now and even went as far as threatening her with her nude photos.
The case was so messy that Davido had to terminate the contract between them.
The singer was arrested for physically assault and after years of going back and forth in court, the ex love birds have decided to settle things out of court.
Lil Frosh took to his Instagram story to share a public statement on the issue where he revealed that they had both reconciled and she has dropped all charges against him on the 14tb March, 2022.
Gift also took to her Instagram story, to appreciate everyone who stood by her throughout the incident.
She also announced that the case has been dropped from court and they have reconciled.
In another post, she slammed those berating her for returning to the singer.
Gift stated that she and the singer aren’t back romantically but her on good terms.
“I want to thank everyone that stood by me throughout the incident between Lil Frosh and I. I will also like to state that the case between I and lil frosh has been withdrawn from Court and we are on good terms”.
In another post, Clarifying where she stand with the singer, she wrote, “It’s always ppl that are worse that keeps judging the decision one makes… people talk like they’re perfect…simple English some Nigerians can’t understand…I never said We’re back together, I said we’re on “good terms”, they’re two different things…. Since when did forgiveness become a bad thing? If I forgive problem, if I don’t forgive another problem lol. I see some pple are still not satisfied with this lol not like I did it to please anyone, I saw all this sick comment coming already…good thing I’m already used to things like this. All I know is that I am at peace with myself and I am happier now and that’s all that matters to me….not what any of you thinks!”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Lil Frosh was remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre till March 9, 2021 following the assault.
A suit against Lilfrosh was filed before the Lagos state Magistrate court in Yaba with the help of the International Association Of Women Lawyers, Lagos State branch.
At the hearing on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 the Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, adjourned the case till March 9, 2021 and ordered that he be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center.
