In a recent development, actress Lillian Afegbai has cried out over the cost of things in most salons on the island.
Taking to her Instagram page, she narrated how she had gone to a salon on the island to quickly loosen her cornrows and also wash it. However, the bills that they had given her after the entire procedure left her shook.
She narrated how she was on a movie set and the director had told her that she needed to make another style of hair. Therefore, she had had to quickly rush to a salon to unbraid her small cornrows as well as wash it.
She had expected to pay the initial sum of 8,000 or 10,000 Naira for the work. However, after the entire ordeal, they had given her a bill of 20,000 Naira and that she had been absolutely shocked by that.
She begged salons to try to reduce the cost of prices as she queried them over while things were expensive. She stated that dollar was currently falling and therefore prices of things should naturally fall with dollar.
