Nollywood actress Lilian Esoro and her ex-husband, Ubi Franklin, are celebrating their son, Jayden, as he turns 9 today, July 17th, 2025.
Taking to her Instagram page, Lilian appreciated God for giving her son another year. She expressed gratitude to Him for her son’s life and health and committed Jayden to His hands.
“Dear God,
Thank you for adding another year to my boy’s life. Thank you for his life and his health.
On this day, I commit him to your care. I pray that you will continue to keep watch over him. Guide and protect him. Deliver him from evil. Let no harm come to him.
Grant him long life full of good health.
Grant him peace and calmness throughout his lifetime.
No matter what he faces in life, let him be reminded that you are his Lord and you are always with him.
Teach him to do right by himself and others.
Bless his ways, bless the works of his hands and make him prosperous in all he does. Keep him under your light and let him never go astray.
May his days be long so that he can fulfil the purpose for which you brought him here.

For his part, Ubi expressed his pride and joy in seeing the incredible person his son has become. He stated that Jayden’s heart is full of kindness, curiosity, and laughter and has made their lives richer.
He reminded his son that life is an adventure, and he and his mom are always there to cheer him on.

For their son’s 8th birthday last year, the former couple has reunited at their son’s birthday party. Ubi was seen with Lilian as they posed for the camera with their son.
The couple had later reunited in December for their son’s school’s Christmas party. In a viral clip, Ubi was captured sitting with Lilian and their son as they posed for the camera.
Reacting to their reunion, one fan noted how the talent manager still loves his ex-wife, and Ubi responded with laughing emojis.
The talent manager, had after spoken about his feelings for Lilian, admitting that he still loves her as they share a son.
Recall that Lilian and Ubi Franklin got married in 2015 and separated a year after welcoming their son. Lilian first filed for divorce in a Lagos High Court, and it was denied. Ubi filed in Abuja, and after years of back and forth in court, their marriage was officially dissolved on January 28th, 2021.
