Report has it that Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro failed to appear at an Ikeja High court for a formal divorce hearing for the dissolution of her marriage to Tripple MG boss, Ubi Franklin who was seen at the court premises in company of his lawyers.
The both of them got married in November 2015 and had their son, Jayden in 2016. Since then, news of trouble in their marriage has been all over social media to the point that fans thought they were already officially divorced.
The news was sparked when Lilian went back to using her maiden name on social media. The rumors further got fueled when Ubi was spotted in public without his wedding ring on.
The last time Lilian Esoro and Ubi Franklin were seen together was at the first birthday party of Prince Chimeguzola Arthur-Paul Anyaso, son of Billionaire businessman, Chima Anyaso.
When her Ubi had his birthday, the actress and model was among those who wished him a happy birthday. She took to her Instastory where she shared a picture of Ubi Franklin and wrote; ‘Happy birthday a guy. More blessings’
In 2016, a close source who pleaded anonymity revealed what led to the actress’ failed marriage. The source stated that the actress always complained about how distanced her husband was. “He never showed up in any of her filming location and this was often a thing of worry for Lilian”, he said. Other reports claimed infidelity and physical abuse as the reason their wedding packed up immediately their son Jayden was born.
