Veteran Yoruba actress Lola Idije has finally addressed reports of her junior colleague, Biodun Okeowo snatching her husband from her daughter.
Kemi Filani reported that Biodun Okeowo, in a video had addressed claims that she snatched her husband from Lola’a daughter. She revealed that her husband doesn’t know any of Lola Idije’s daughters and had only met the veteran through her. Shutting down the rumors, she urged her colleague, Tosin, to clear the air on the news as she noted how the said colleague had been subbing for her.
Now speaking out via her Instagram page, Lola made it known that Biodun never snatched her husband from her daughter. She noted how she was at the actress’ wedding, which would have been impossible if the rumors were true.
She also stressed that the first time she spoke to Biodun’s husband was when she introduced him to her on a phone call and none of her daughters know him personally.
“I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air. The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call. I did not know him before that. None of my daughters know him personally. Biodun, aka Omoborty, did not snatch my daughter’s boyfriend. I attended the wedding. There is no way she would do that and I will still attend the wedding. Thank you and I hope this clarifies everything”.
Recall that Biodun Okeowo announced that she was engaged in March as she unveiled her husband to the world. In July, the movie star held her traditional wedding to her, which was the talk of the internet for a week.
This isn’t the first time, Biodun Okeowo has had to clear the air surrounding her love life. The curvy actress was once alleged to have been romantically involved with skitmaker and actor, Cute Abiola. This prompted Cute Abiola’s wife to publish some evidence on social media. Some of the leaked chats revealed how Omoborty asked Cute Abiola about his penis functioning, which he shared with some friends.
Addressing it, Biodun revealed how she had been bullied by people over the false rumors. In a video, while holding the Bible, she bitterly cursed those who accused her of sleeping with him. She revealed that she kept quiet about the affair because her man and children told her not to speak out, but she, however, decided to as trolls kept attaching her to him.
