Lola Omotayo Okoye, the wife of award-winning singer, Peter Okoye is celebrating her former sister-in-law, Anita Okoye as she turns 35 today.
Even though Anita Okoye has separated from Paul Okoye, the twin brother of Lola Omotayo’s husband, Peter Okoye, Lola hasn’t failed to shower love on the mother of her children’s cousins.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Lola expressed how proud she is of Anita, especially because she is becoming a great woman.
She praised her for her parenting skills as she described how awesome she is to her three children.
Raining prayers on her, she stated that her kindness and compassion have a profound impact on everyone lucky enough to know her.
“My dearest Anita, Happy 35th Birthday! On this special day, I pray that the warmth of God’s love and blessings surrounds you. May you find joy, success, and good health in the coming year and forever. Your kindness and compassion have a profound impact on everyone lucky enough to know you. I am very proud of the great woman you have become and particularly how awesome of a mother you are to your three precious children and my children as well. Recall that last year, Lola Omotayo made it clear that Anita Okoye will always be her sister even though she is separated from Paul Okoye (The second half of PSquare).
While celebrating her 34th birthday, she called Anita her “always-will-be-sister” and a super mom.
Lola and Anita have remained cordial, even when their husbands, twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, were fighting.
Anita and Paul Okoye are now divorced but Lola has retained her bond with Anita.
On the cause of the divorce, Anita during her court filings had alleged that Paul was inviting their housemaid, Florence to hotels to carry out their illicit affairs, and had thrown her and her sister out of the house when they discovered his affair with his housemaid.
She claimed that the singer had boasted that the reason for his actions was to ensure that Anita’s wings were clipped and that she had no one else to lean on.
It was also shocking to know that Paul Okoye hadn’t been interested in his kids’ upbringing, and had reneged on his promise to Anita over her brand.
All of these and more led to Anita Okoye’s decision to file for divorce, which became finalized last year and saw Anita winning big and having access to his properties plus child support.
