Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Lucy Edet has recounted her experience with music star, Davido’s security.
The singer has made headlines over the years for his tough security who are fond of mishandling people who trespass their boundaries.
Lucy revealed that she was at a club with her friend when one of the singer’s convoy nearly hit them. Luckily for her, her God saved her but Lucy didn’t leave the club without insulting them. She also claimed that some boys ended up receiving hot slaps from his security.
“Na so somebody’s chop slap early momo as we were leaving the club because of Davido. The security details held the kind of guns you saw in movies. Na Baba God save me and my friend, one of the mumu convoys nearly hit me as my friend. I abused them wella”.

Weeks back, Davido made headlines after his aide, Lati had assaulted two fans who wanted to make a video with him. In the first video, Lati punched a fan for taking pictures with the singer at an event. In another video, Lati landed a heavy slap on another male fan who tried to reach Davido’s side.
Reacting to it, skitmaker and content creator, Mr Macaroni expressed how saddened he was seeing the video as he described it as condemnable and dehumanizing. He went on to send a message to his fellow celebrities.
Joining him, Anita Joseph described the act as unfair as she questioned what happened.
Last year, during Mohbad’s Candlelight ceremony, Davido made headlines after he was captured knocking a fan’s phone as he attempted to capture the singer.
Also during his Timeless Concert, Davido was on alert mode after a fan of his stormed the stage to meet him. He was ready to punch the fan, but the timely intervention of security threw the fan off stage.
