Interior decorator and wife of comedian, Ayo Makun better known as AY, Mabel Makun has spoken out following her husband’s apology to singer, Davido.
Kemi Filani reported that after a disdainful video of him mocking Davido made rounds, Ayo Makun had tendered an apology to Davido for the insensitive joke.
Ay noted how Davido had all right to be angry with him, especially with the way blogs twisted it.
He noted how it is always a learning experience for everyone in the entertainment business and he deserves every backlash or negative thought coming his way for the joke that was badly delivered.
Begging him not to reason it, he declared that he remains Davido’s number one fan.
Surprisingly, Davido who is unshaken by the viral clip told Ayo Makun not to bother. He wrote, “Nothing spoil baba mi.”
Now reacting to it, Mabel Makun who had earlier slammed those criticizing her husband for the joke, made a U-turn.
Sharing a clip of her living her best life, she stated that it is always love and light from her end.
“Love and light always”.
Recall that there was a mass outrage on social media when a video emerged from Ayo Makun’s latest show in Warri, mocking Davido’s manhood which he claimed is smaller compared to his big one.
The comedian cum actor went on to shade the singer on how he used his small manhood to birth babies with different mothers, something he had been trying for 13 years with his larger own.
The insensitive joke got angry Nigerians raging on the internet, as they condemned the father of two for publicly disgracing his entertainment colleague.
Following this, Mabel Makun lamented the rate at which youths disregard the elders in Nigeria, a post shared on Instagram in support of her husband.
A few days back, AY had replied to a lady’s curiosity over his wife, Mabel Makun’s banging body.
It is no longer news that the couple had lost their Lagos mansion to a fire incident, and the comedian, who briefly relocated to the US with his family, returned to Nigeria to celebrate his friend’s birthday and shared clips from the party.
Taking to his comment section, a female fan had questioned if his wife went under the knife, and AY didn’t hesitate to shut her down.
