Interior designer and wife of comedian Ayo Makun, Mabel Makun has thrown a shade at Basketmouth and his bff, Bovi.
Taking to her Instagram page, Mabel Makun shared several cryptic posts which many believe was targeted at Basketmouth and Bovi.
Recall that following the trending old photo of Basketmouth and AY, Bovi had taken a swipe at AY as he stated that the photo was of Basketmouth with a fan.
Reacting to it, Mabel Makun mocked them as she noted how their plans isn’t going the way they gathered and planned it.
She stated that they are frustrated and can’t hide it anymore.
“It’s not going the way they gathered and planned it. They are frustrated, they can’t hide it anymore”.
In another post, Mabel stated that she has realized that witches and wizards don’t gather at night alone but during the day.
The mum of two noted how people would call it pride but it’s to protect their space.
“I realized a long time ago that wizards do not only gather at night but during the day as well. They will call it pride but protect your space”.
She added that they will always gather but their efforts would be in vain.
“They will gather but it will always be in vain”.
Mabel Makun reacts to Basketmouth’s bombshell revelation about her husband, AY
Kemi Filani reported days back that Mabel Makun had inserted herself into the longtime beef between her husband and Basketmouth.
Hours after Basketmouth addressed the long-time beef he had with AY, Mabel Makun took to her Instagram page to share a cryptic post.
Mabel stated that she had come to realize that some people aggressively pass information because they know no other way.
She added that everyone can’t be soft-spoken, as such, people should be understanding and learn to hold their peace.
“Everyone can’t be soft-spoken. Understand this and know peace”.
Ay Makun reveals the genesis of his long-standing beef with Basketmouth
Recall that her husband, AY, in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, went down memory lane in 2006 when he was still a bachelor and trying to earn a living for himself. He said he stood in for Basketmouth at an event however he didn’t receive his pay of thirty thousand Naira which was gold at the time. Read more here.
He also recounted how he was embarrassed and humiliated at Basketmouth’s wedding.
According to him, he had attended his wedding with his wife but was shocked when he wasn’t allowed to enter the event, as his name wasn’t on the list of guests.
Surprisingly, his wife was allowed to enter as her name was on the guest list. Since her husband couldn’t go in, his wife turned down the invite.
He further revealed how his name would be kicked out of events because Basketmouth was in attendance.
