A mad woman has reportedly given birth to a very healthy and beautiful baby in Asaba. She was said to have been delivered with no antenatal care nor doctor assistance.

Recall that in 2016, a woman Hassana, 22, gave birth to a baby boy in broad daylight at Kaduna Central Market, yesterday, while hundreds of people watched her. Some women formed a circle around her, while one of them played the role of a midwife.
She had reportedly wandered around the market for years until she was spotted with pregnancy, towards the end of 2015. A trader at the market says Hassana always moves around in tattered clothes, scavenging for food around the market.
Ibrahima Yakubu, a journalist with Deutsche Welles, DW, who was at the market at the time quickly provided money to convey both mother and child to the Yusuf Danstoho Memorial Hospital, Tudun Wada, Kaduna, for proper medical assistance.
He then contacted the Senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial disctrict, Senator Shehu Sani, who made some donations and also paid the hospital bills. Some well meaning Nigerians also made donations.
It was also reported in 2015 that a female lunatic brought to life a healthy and beautiful baby girl. In his account, Comrade Femi Okeowo, a resident who rescued the the baby girl from her insane mother said:
“I was on my way to school when I saw the mad woman with the baby. Some residents were scared of taking the baby from the mother but thank God for some men in the vicinity who intervened that the child be taken from her for the fear of being kidnapped.
“I asked her to hand over the baby to me that I wasn’t going to kidnap her and she did without hesitating. I collected the child and a female resident tidied her up,” he stated.
He however discarded the views of eyewitnesses that she could be feigning insanity. “Though she speaks coherently at times but merely observing
her appearance, it is so glaring that she is insane. From my own point of view, she is abnormal because her hair is very unkept. It is the work of God and it is mysterious as well for a mad woman to trek all the way from Lome and give birth in Agbara in Ogun state”, he claimed.
