A Nigerian man couldn’t hold back his tears as he met his favorite celebrity, Toyin Abraham at the cinema.
It is no longer news that Toyin has premiered her much-anticipated movie, Malaika which has started showing on all Cinemas in Nigeria. A big fan of hers had gone to the cinema to watch her movie, unknowingly that it would be the best day of his life.
The married man’s wife, who narrated the emotional moment, revealed that she knew Toyin was going to be live at Ikeja Mall on Tuesday and had to surprise her husband and make him happy, knowing he is a big fan of hers. She revealed that her husband is such a die-hard fan of the actress, that there is none of her movies he hasn’t watched.
At the cinema, he was opportune to meet with Toyin, who hugged him deeply and he broke into tears.
“My husband and world best @toyin_abraham my husband has always wanted to meet mummy ire and I know world best will be live at Ikeja mall today to surprise my husband and make him happy I told him to let us go watch movie he doesn’t even know the movie storyline but whenever he hears is from world best my husband must watch it to think this movie speaks more about us as we are still praying to God I can really relate with the whole thing and boom my husband meets world best he cried he laughed and enjoyed himself. Mummy ire u do this one. Malaika is a movie u all must watch as I was able to grant my husband’s wish I will be giving out 5 free tickets to whoever can’t afford to pay just for u to see this masterpiece and preach the gospel”.
This isn’t the first time, Toyin has had such encounters with her fans.
Early this year, after the premiere of her 2022 movie, Ijakumo, which was released in cinemas in December, Toyin reflected on her Meet and Greet while visiting the cinemas, relieving one of her biggest moments, which was meeting a die-hard fan of hers.
The female fan, identified as Adeola Awokoya had been a proud supporter and lover of the actress. To even prove how much she loves the actress, Adeola had massively created awareness about the movie.
During a meet and greet at the cinema, Toyin finally met Adeola and the two couldn’t stop shedding tears. Toyin, who shared the touching me moment, revealed that this was one of the biggest moments in her life as an actress, as it made her realize how she impacts youths.
Sometime back, Abraham had reacted to a viral interview of her die-hard fans saying they could abandon their marriage introduction because of her.
In the hilarious video shared on her Instagram page, some men were questioned on what they would do if Toyin asked them out just a few days before their marriage introduction, and the majority of them said they would cancel or call off the marriage introduction to be with the actress.
Reacting to this, Abraham laughed over the video, saying that her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi and his family would come for them and also teased her husband and his family about paying another dowry.
