Nigerian music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has received a warning from a Nigerian over video of his second daughter, Hailey, living a luxurious life.
Kemi Filani reported that the dotting father of six took his second daughter, who resides in the US, on vacation to the Bahamas. Ahead of school resumption, the singer shared a video of him and his daughter boarding a private jet and revealed that he was returning Hailey home for school while he headed back to work.
As always the video drew the attention of some social media users as while some praised him, some called him out for neglecting his first daughter, Imade.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter now known as X, a tweep warned him to stop exposing his children to luxury at a young age. Explaining why, he said it can spoil their way of thinking. The tweep advises Davido to enroll his kids in a public school where they can interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
“Stop exposing your children to luxury at a young age, as it can spoil their way of thinking. I advise you to enroll her in a public school where she can interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Thank you”.
His unsolicited advice stirred reactions from netizens who slammed him for his poverty mentality.

Although Davido is seldom seen with his daughter Hailey, they seem to share a strong father/daughter bond, especially when they hang out.
Last year, Davido had taken a time from his tour to spend time with Hailey in the US. Taking to his Instagram story, Davido shared a screenshot of his FaceTime with Hailey. Captioning the post, he called her his twin.
In May, the Afrobeat artist Davido celebrated his daughter on her birthday. The music star gushed over how she was a blessing to his life while publicly expressing his love for her.
While Davido shares a strong bond and a smooth relationship with Hailey’s mother, things aren’t the same with his first babymama, Sophia Momodu.
Recall that a few days before his traditional wedding, Davido had filed a suit, seeking joint custody of his daughter, as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and extorting money from him, which she denied. Sophia had revealed that the Range Rover Davido gifted Imade years back was secondhand, and he had refused to pay half of their accommodation and Imade’s school fees.
A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer was unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
