Former Big Brother Naija housemate Maria Chike Benjamin has penned an emotional message to celebrate her first child, Leonardo Amarana as he clocks one today, the first of October 2024.
A proud Maria celebrated her son with lovely memories of each milestone of her son from birth till his new age.
She shared the moment he was born, first contact with her son, his first Christmas celebration, three month photo shoot, when he started crawling and other fond memories.
Sharing the video on Instagram, the mother expressed how much she loves her son right from when she realised that she was pregnant.
Maria also recalled how her life got changed when she held him for the first time and the constant happiness she enjoys because of him.
She revealed that herself and her baby daddy, Kelvin are thankful for his first birthday.
“I have loved you right from when the first two pink lines appeared. Bone of my bone, you are the one who made me a mum, the first time I held you in my arms, my life changed and it’s only been happiness since. You have my heart forever Leonardo, Your dad and I couldn’t be more thankful to God for you each day. Happy 1st birthday son.”
Maria had caused a stir online when she stepped out in style with her boyfriend Kevin while she was pregnant .
In viral videos, the proud parents were spotted holding hands while they had the attention of those present at the event.
Many took to social media to note how Maria is glowing and enjoying her new phase.
Recall that Maria Chike’s relationship with Kelvin was the talk of the internet when the news leaked out.
There were allegations that she snatched Cubans Chief priests’ brother in law.
However, weeks before her pregnancy announcement, Maria addressed reports of wrecking her boyfriend’s marriage.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Maria claimed that she never knew Kevin was married before they started dating.
She made it known that she didn’t destroy his marriage and vowed to stand by her words. According to her, she isn’t a home wrecker and would never be one.
