May Edochie, the ex-wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has been named one of the Most Influential Women in Africa.

This isn’t the first award the mother of four, who lost her first son last year, is receiving. Last year, May expressed gratitude to God after being decorated with the United Nations Eminate Peace Ambassador award. Sharing a clip from the event, May stated that it can only be God as she noted how his words came to pass.
May Edochie is proof that a woman can still keep winning after a divorce, as since her separation from her actor husband, she has launched her own business, bagged endorsement deals, bagged awards,s, and even made her acting debut.
Since her separation from Yul, May has found favor in the eyes of celebrities, Nigerians, and social media users.
Last year, she hit a million followers, and she stated that she has never seen anything like the love her fans and followers have for her. Questioning what kind of love that is, she praised them for being amazing as she noted how the atmosphere is filled with genuine celebrations and jubilations.
