Suspended National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya better known as MC Oluomo is 47 today, March 14.
MC Oluomo who has been through a tough time following his suspension from his office has recounted his journey.
He noted how his new age has given him another opportunity to reflect on the past and be grateful to his creator for the present and optimistic future.
MC Oluomo opened up on how this year has been challenging for him as he surmounted many obstacles, has friends who turned enemies and suffered lots of betrayals.
He prayed for guidance and rededication as he comes to terms with the fact that some people will forever hate him regardless of what he did or didn’t do.
“Today marks yet another day in my life, a day to reflect on the past, be grateful to Almighty Allah for the present and optimistic for the future. The previous year was indeed challenging,many obstacles were surmounted, few friends turned enemies due to betrayal and many enemies turned friends by retracting their steps and displayed their loyalties.
By and large, it was indeed eventful year but I thank God for the grace to overcome it all.
As I step into another year, I pray for God’s guidance as I dedicate myself for the good of humanity. I have accepted the fact that some people will forever hate you regardless of what you do or didn’t do. To such people, there is nothing I can do rather than continually praying to God to always make me triumphant…
I wish myself fruitful years ahead”.

The NURTW boss held a pre birthday party at Chillers Hotel and Suites to mark his new age.
In honour of him, a lavish party was held in Lagos with many celebrities and politicians in attendance.
Actress, Kemi Korede took to her Instagram page to give fans a glimpse of his lavish bash.
Sharing a video of the event, she revealed that actor Ijebu was the host of the day.
