Media personality, Benita has slammed an understanding boyfriend for getting offended over a viral video of his girlfriend and Omah Lay.
Kemi Filani reported on Friday that an understanding Nigerian boyfriend had been left heartbroken over Omah Lay’s cradling of his girlfriend.
The singer had thrilled some of his fans at a concert in the UK, which was also graced by some of his colleagues like Bella Shmurda and Iyanya. One of the highlights from the event was when he performed one of his songs, “Bend You” and brought a girl on stage. The singer was seen rocking the girl and performing several s3x styles with her, something her boyfriend, who was in the crowd didn’t find funny.
A video online captured the moment, the understanding boyfriend bowed his head and tried to stay cool as Omah Lay rocked his girlfriend in front of the crowd, who were screaming in excitement.
Reacting to it, via her Twitter page, Benita opined that the man shouldn’t have been angry as he was only dating the girl and not married to her. She noted how every lady would gladly accept to rock Omah Lay.
Calling out the hypocrisy in Nigerians, she reminded them that Omah Lay is a celebrity and as such everyone would want to dance with him.
“Her man has no right to be angry, they are only dating and not married, every lady will gladly do this with Omah Lay, na celebrity we dey talk o, you all should stop acting like a hypocrite, we pretend too much in this country”.
Similarly, OAP Dotun slammed people who were blaming the girl who left her boyfriend to dance with Omah Lay.
Calling Nigerians hypocrites, he expressed that this was the same thing that had happened with Keke Palmer in her relationship with her baby daddy and yet everybody had been quick to slam the baby daddy.
He further opined that most Nigerians were hypocrites and that they should not be selective with their criticism.
Unlike them, Big Brother Naija star, Vee Iye frowned at the video as she condemned the lady for getting involved in such an act.
Describing it as embarrassing, she argued that the young man should have left the scene immediately when things got heated between the two.
In other news, Omah Lay made a shocking revelation about his personal life, revealing the things that influenced his debut album, Boy Alone.
He stated that people he used to look up to stopped showing him love, and that when he looked at people in the eye, all he saw was doubt, disrespect, and hate.
The singer spilled that he had an affair with his therapist, which worsened his depression.
