Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has taken to Instagram to pen down a tribute to her colleague and her former best friend, Mide Martins on her birthday today.
According to Mercy in the birthday message she wrote for Mide on her Instagram page, she described the mother of two as a beautiful person.
In her words;
“Happy birthday Ore mi, Elle Popsy, beautiful inside and out @mydemartins God bless your new age!”
Taking to the comment section to react, Mide Martins wrote;
“Friendship Mi @realmercyaigbe Thank You Babe!!! I Love You Always”
Toyin also wrote on Instagram;

Kemi Filani recalls that a few years ago, there were allegations that Mide Martins almost lost her marriage due to her closeness to her colleague and bestie, Mercy Aigbe.
According to reports, Mide’s husband, Afeeze Owo was uncomfotable with her friendship with Mercy and this almost led to their breakup. Although the two have reconciled but with several conditions on the table. One of such conditions is that Mide Martins give the Mag Divas boss some space due to her bad influence.
Their colleagues noticed the changes between the two when they started avoiding each other at locations. However it became obvious that things were not going well between them as it used to. The issue became apparently clear when Mide who used to model for Mercy fashion line Mag Divas, dumped the gig and started modeling for a new fashion line identified as Zanzee beauty and style.
Tho they are rarely seen together nowadays it is believed that they still keep in touch via social media..
