Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is undoubtedly unbothered with the allegations from her ex-husband as she treated their son to a birthday dinner.
Kemi Filani reported that Juwon Gentry, the son of the actress and Lanre Gentry turned 14 years on Tuesday and while penning a note to his son, Lanre had shaded Mercy, accusing her of taking his son away. However, he is satisfied that the boy is growing up to identify him as his father and can come to him for anything without his mother’s interference.
Despite his claims, Mercy Aigbe isn’t allowing it affect her as the movie star treated her son to a birthday dinner. Mercy took to her Instagram page to share photos from the dinner.
“Birthday dinner for my son shine. Assistant birthday girl. Outside for Juwon”.
In 2021, Mercy and Lanre got into a social media spat after she celebrated herself on Father’s Day. Lanre, in his reply, said women who join and celebrate themselves on father’s day are not worthy of being called a housewife or mother. He also rubbished Mercy’s claims on sponsoring her children’s education and paying school fees in dollars, noting how he had also paid the school fees of her daughter, who was another man’s child.
Infuriated about his statement, Aigbe blasted Lanre urging him to stop his stupīd lies, and alleged that he was an irresponsible man and a deadbeat father. Lanre hit back, promising to expose the actress’ shady secrets and prostitution acts with movie marketers, and Aigbe had fired back, urging him on.
The former couple have both since moved on since their divorce. Mercy Aigbe is now married as a second wife to marketer, Kazim Adeoti. Lanre on his part, is married to his staff, Oluwabusola and they have since welcomed a child, a baby girl.
After tying the knot, Lanre threw a shade at Mercy as he urged men to marry women that they can handle. He had also shut down claims of Kazim Adeoti being the biological father of his son with Mercy Aigbe after many urged him to conduct DNA test.
