It is raining congratulatory messages for gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her pastor husband, Pastor Blessed, as they welcome their second child
Kemi Filani reported on Friday that Mercy and Pastor Blessed announced they were expecting their second child. Mercy shared photos from her maternity shoot and expressed gratitude to God.
On his Instagram page, Pastor Blessed shared a video from their maternity shoot, declaring that he loves Mercy so much and questioned how else he can thank the Lord.
Taking to her Instagram page to share maternity photos of herself and her husband and a cake which said, “Our baby is here”, Mercy announced that they have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on Saturday, August 16th.
She stated that their hearts overflowed with gratitude and that they appreciated the public’s outpour of love, prayers, and wishes.
The gospel singer thanked the public for celebrating with them and prayed their testimony would be next.

On Thursday, the gospel singer and her husband celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Mercy stated that it had been three years of love, grace, countless memories, and God’s purpose guiding them. The award-winning singer said God’s hand is in every chapter of their lives and cheered on to many more years of love, laughter, and kingdom impact.
Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed tied the knot in a star-studded wedding on August 12th and 13th at Mercy’s hometown in Port Harcourt. Celebrities like Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Waje, Chigurl, Joe Praiz, and others.
In October, 2023, Mercy confirmed that she and her husband, had welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Mercy expressed gratitude to God for their addition, stating that her heart and that of her husband are filled with joy and gratitude.
