Nollywood stars and other celebrities have shown support for actress Uche Ogbodo after her shop got burglarized by thieves.
Kemi Filani reported that Ogbodo had cried out over the robbery attack on her clothing store, which cost her close to fifty million naira. There had been gossip about the robbery attack on social media, hours before she confirmed the news. A gossip blog had claimed that the actress’s store was robbed and goods worth millions were carted away.
Confirming the news, Uche took to her Instagram page to lament the wickedness that had melted on her business. The mother of three expressed her tiredness due to the weight of keeping a business afloat. According to the post on Instagram, Uche had lost close to 50 million naira this year.
Taking to her comment section, many of her colleagues sympathized with her.

Last month, Uche Ogbodo lost two of her stores; one to flood and another to the Government’s demolition. Sharing the sad news on her Instagram page, she stated that watching old videos of her store made her heart bleed as she was in pain for months. The mother of three noted how she lost it all: her hard work, blood, tears, and years of prayers to build her brand in a twinkle of an eye, and how her husband has been trying to keep her strong despite also losing his store.
