Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has been left in awe of God’s wonders as her daughter, Purity turns 11 today, December 30th.
Taking to her Instagram page to share photos of the celebrant, Mercy expressed gratitude to God as she stated that she is short of words over her daughter’s life.
Mercy revealed that her daughter said she wanted no parties for her birthday and she and her husband granted her wish.
“Purity is 11.
Thank you, Lord, I have no words, Lord. Just do that which only you can always do in her life. She insisted on no parties this year and we granted it. No parties just prayers”.

Last year, Mercy Johnson and her husband, Prince Odi Okojie had gone all out for Purity’s 10th birthday.
To mark her entrance into the two-digit club, Mercy and her husband threw Purity a lavish birthday party. From the different birthday cakes to the party games and gifts; there was no doubt that Purity would remember this day for years to come.
In her birthday message, Mercy Johnson said a powerful word of prayer for her daughter, as she expressed how unbelievable it is for her to know that her first fruit is 10.
Her husband, Prince Odi also joined in praying for their daughter.
Some months back, following her husband’s victory at his polling unit, Johnson had expressed jealousy at the love and bond between her husband, and her first daughter, Purity.
The politician had taken to his Instagram page to share photos of his daughter’s visit to his new office at the National Assembly, where she was given special treatment from her father, which left Mercy Johnson feeling jealous.
Mercy Johnson described her daughter as Daddy’s girl as she complained about the level of cheating in her home.
In August, the parents of four celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary, with loved-up photos, accompanied by sweet words.
Mercy Johnson Okojie described her husband as her quarrel and gossip partner whom she can’t do without and cheered on to an awesome 12 years of mutual commitment to love without condition or expiry date.
Her husband, on his part, stated that every moment spent with his wife fills his heart with countless memories and immeasurable happiness.
