Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has penned an emotional note to her father, Ametuo Daniel Johnson.
The mother of four questioned how her father could wake up on a beautiful day, read his bible, pick up an outfit, lay down, and pass on.
She revealed that the reality of his demise is difficult to grasp and even as she pens a note to him, she is unable to process the thought of never seeing him again.
Mercy Johnson stated that nothing consoles her more than knowing that her father was a man who loved God so much.
“How does one wake up pick an outfit, read the bible lay down, and pass on? I can’t understand it”.
“The very reality of your demise is difficult to grasp. Even as I pen these words down, I am unable to process the thought of never seeing you again. I still feel like it is all a dream to wake up from but alas I am not sure of what to believe anymore. That you are forever gone is hard to accept.
Nothing consoles me more knowing that you were a man who loved God so much and will surely be in His abode. As I wallow in the pain of your painful transit, I leave all to our Father in Heaven in whose hands lies all answers.
Adieu Papa, you are sorely missed here. Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord Almighty until we meet to part no more”.
Mercy Johnson loses father
Kemi Filani reported days back that Mercy Johnson had lost her father, Ametuo Daniel Johnson.
In a heartbreaking post on her Instagram page, the mother of four vowed to keep asking God for the rest of her life why he took her father’s life.
She stated that she doesn’t think she will ever understand why God took him away from her and even if He (God) ever responds, she doesn’t think she would accept it.
Mercy Johnson, who is in pain, described her pain as the greatest pain of all.
Bading him goodnight, she wrote,
“For the rest of my life Daddy, I will keep asking God why? I don’t think I will ever understand why he has taken you from me. And if he responds, I don’t even think I will accept it.
They say love saves but my love did not keep you here with us. The great pain I feel now is the greatest pain of all.
Rest In Peace my gentle father, NWO Johnson Ametuo Daniel D.A Johnson. God clearly loves you more, that’s the only explanation that makes any sense to me”.
Prince Odi Okojie solicits prayers following his father-in-law’s death
Her husband, Prince Odi Okojie had solicited prayers as they mourn the death of her father.
Taking to his Instagram page, Prince Odi announced the loss of his father-in-law, who also doubles as a Naval officer.
Prince Odi solicited prayers on behalf of his wife and her family as he prayed that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He added that arrangements will be communicated in due time.
