Nollywood actress Mide Martins has melted hearts as she kneeled to appreciate her husband, Afeez Owo for his constant support.
The movie star won the Best Actress of the Year award at the just concluded Odunlade Adekola Film Production Award (OAFP) in Abeokuta.
In her speech, Mide appreciated God for the journey, which she admitted hasn’t been easy. She appreciated Him for giving her the strength and ability to do all that she does every time.
She also appreciated her husband as she noted how without him, there is no her. She thanked him for being there for her since she lost her mother.
“I want to say a big thank you to God Almighty, the journey hasn’t been easy at all. I say thank you to God for giving me the strength and the ability to do all that I do every time.
I want to also say thank you to my husband, my PR; without him, there is no me. He has always been there for me since I lost my mother, he is still there and will always be there”.

Mide isn’t the only one winning awards. Last month, Afeez Owo had bagged an award and certification in Canada. Taking to his Instagram page, the actor shared a video of the certification and award he received, which was to honor him for his exceptional talent as an actor, producer, and director. The award organizers noted his commitment to enhancing the community and the Nigerian entertainment industry through his creative work.
Back in September at a movie location, Mide had showered prayers on Afeez Owo. She shared a video of them on the set of a movie, as she noted how what God cannot do doesn’t exist and congratulated her husband. Raining prayers on him, she wished him success in life and prayed for him to keep soaring higher and for him to never crumble.
In other news, Mide had recounted a near-death experience she had while on the set of a movie production. She recounted the pains she had to endure to give her fans the best, as she revealed how she almost lost her brain while on set.
