Almost two months after Nollywood actress, Mide Martins clocked 41 years old, the mother of two has received a huge surprise from her loved ones in a bid to acknowledge and celebrate her birthday. According to the talented and versatile actress, she was very surprised and clueless because she did not see it coming.
She added that she was shocked because her birthday had passed but her friends still made sure they celebrated for her. In her words “This Is An Evidence Of Being Loved”
Recall that Mide Martins’s birthday was on the 12th of April which happens to have fallen during the lockdown period in Lagos state. The lockdown was enforced by the government to help curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic deadly disease.
One of the rules given by the government during the lockdown stated that Lagosians must practice social distancing and no social gathering must be organised. Recall that things things did not end well for popular actress, Funke Akindele who flouted Lagos state rules by organizing a social gathering to celebrate her husband’s birthday. Funke faced prosecution and was punished for adhering strictly to the rules and regulations of the state.
Sharing a video of how the late birthday surprise celebration went, Mide Martins wrote “
At my best friend’s place @zanzeespabeautynstyle. I was sleeping jejely when she came to wake me that someone was having a birthday that we should go and surprise her. On getting to the living room I was totally surprised and clueless to see that I was actually the one the surprise was planned for to celebrate my belated birthday Never ever have I been caught unaware like this before.
Couldn’t believe everyone came all the way from their houses that early morning just to show me love. Tears of Joy rolled out of my eyes because I don’t have the strength to handle too much emotions. ADUKE what more can I ask for in a friend. You are a huge blessing to me from God. You are not just “Ore Bi Omo Iya” You are “Ore Bi Iya”
