The Consul General of Nigeria in New York, Ambassador Lot Egogipa, had revealed that the late rapper would be honored with an Independence Day event on Monday, October 2nd.
He made this known during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in New York, where he admonished Nigerians living in the U.S. to be hopeful about the future of the country and its leadership.
The news didn’t sit well with many as they noted how no one paid attention to the singer when he cried for help before his untimely demise.
